What exactly is Nuking the Moon?
In Nuking the Moon, Vince Houghton, Historian and Curator of the International Spy Museum, collects the most inspired, implausible and downright bizarre military intelligence plans that never actually happened. Bomb-carrying bats. Cigars laced with mind-altering drugs. This is the hilarious true story of history left on the drawing board.
Some may know Vince from the International Spy Museum’s very own podcast, SpyCast, as well as several appearances across American news networks.
What does clueQuest have to do with it?
Fair question, agent. You haven’t lost your knack for espionage. The book is out in the UK today, and we’ve partnered up with independent publisher Profile Books to celebrate its launch with a social media giveaway which could very well result in you receiving one of 25 brand new copies of the book, complete with £30 off at clueQuest, before you can even say the words, ‘Incoming intel’! Fans of Mr Q will also be pleased to know that you’ll receive our very own secret story inspired by Nuking the Moon.
How do I enter?
Over the next two weeks, simply share any one of our posts promoting the giveaway across any of our social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) with a short line about why the book appeals to you, the hashtag #NukingTheMoon and tag two friends to alert them of the deal.
Only entrants who are following both clueQuest (@cluequest) and Profile Books (@ProfileBooks) on their chosen platform will be counted, so make sure you double check!
Once you’ve entered, decrease your chances of us missing your entry by commenting or messaging us with the words ‘Mission complete’. Winners can expect a message requesting a delivery address by November 21st.
