Our Intrepid Reporter: the Original Mrs Q

By Freya Carroll

clueQuest has always been a family business. It was started by four brothers in 2013, which feels like a lifetime ago! Our Intrepid Reporter sat down with Iren Papp, mother of the four founding brothers, to ask her about her experiences over the years at clueQuest.

Meet Lift, clueQuest's December Charity

By Freya Carroll

Christmas is a time for giving, whether it’s the time our agents give to save the world or the presents we give to our loved ones. Generosity is a really important part of clueQuest, and we racked our brains this year as to how we could give back to our community! Then it hit us - we could raise money for a local charity, which is how we came across Lift, a youth hub based near our headquarters in Islington.

Nothing says I love you like time spent together with your significant other. Whether you believe in the tradition of Valentine's day or you think your love doesn't need a nudge on a particular day it is still a great excuse to show your partner how much you care. So we've collected our top picks for a memorable Valentine's day date.

Half Term is always an amazing excuse to spend some valuable time with our kids and go on adventures together as a family. To make your life easier we have collected some of our favourite things to do around London with kids.

Working from home whether full time or in a hybrid setting is here to stay for the long run. A Stanford University study found that, despite an astonishing productivity boost, over 50% of respondents felt too isolated in a fully remote working situation. Not to mention additional challenges like Zoom fatigue. Yes it’s a thing. So how should you navigate this new setup?

What we do to be eco-friendly

By clueQuest

We at clueQuest attach great importance to environmental protection. We think about the future. Flying cars, pizza hydration and self-lacing shoes…  Oops, this is a movie, sorry. So we are thinking about the real future which can only be what we want it to be if we act consciously today. So we try to be as eco-friendly as possible and do everything we can to leave a better world for our children.

Rainy days in London? What a surprise. Don’t worry, you can do a lot of things even if the weather isn’t the best right now. This list gives you some ideas to make the most of such days in London if you still want to have fun with your family or friends.

Nowadays we have a lot of information that can easily distract us from the things that are really important. When work is over, we spend a lot of time surfing the internet in our free time. Of course this is not true for everyone, but let’s face it… Be honest with yourself! Do you spend more time scrolling than doing something with your family? If your answer is yes, this article is for you!

We have had a very good relationship with the Thrill Nation team lately. They tried out our Print+Cut+Escape games during the pandemic, in which they had a lot of fun to our great delight. The Thrill Nation guys liked the graphic design of the games, so they asked us to make a drawing of them. This gave us the idea to do a short interview and introduce them to you as well.

If you’re looking for fun with the kids this half term, you came to the right place. We can finally leave home more calmly so we thought we’d collect our favourite things to do for you. After the lockdown, all of us would love to have some fun together with the family. Kids will be especially grateful if we come up with some exciting activities for them.

It's an old habit here at clueQuest to keep improving and fine tuning all our experiences. As we refine our skills and learn about new technologies we are always keen to apply them not only to our new escape game experiences but the existing ones too. Although we always aim for perfection we do realise that learning never ends so we never abandone any of our projects.

Here at clueQuest we believe in the power of shared experiences and since you're here on our blog, clearly you do too. So you know that nothing beats sharing special moments with those we love. The lockdown is almost over so we compiled a list to inspire ideas how to create new & happy memories. There are the obvious ones...
